The UBTT team tournament scheduled for may 30th on Gunlock Reservoir is still a go at this time. This will be a 12 fish limit per team (no size limit) with only one weigh-in. Each teams best five fish will be used for your total days weight.
The reason for the 12 fish limit is to help the Utah Division of Wildlife remove fish from Gunlock to be transported to other local reservoirs.
Sign up will begin at 6 AM in the parking lot.
After a very sucessful 2014 Tournament season I would like to thank all the anglers who supported UBTT to make 2014 our best year so far since we started the tournament trail in 2010.
The 2014 TOC had the highest number of teams competing since our first TOC on Lake Mead in 2010.
As an affiliate of B.A.S.S. UBTT qualified 6 teams for the 2014 Toyota Bonus Bucks Bassmaster Team Championship hold in Dec. on Lake Degray, AR.
We are looking forward to another great year for 2015 and with angler support we will continue to grow as in the past few years.
The Nevada and Southern Utah Divisions are currently under way for 2015. Other divisions will be kicking off the 1st event of the season in early March and a couple divisions in the North will begin the season in April. You can check exact dates by clicking on the division you are interested in to the left under the heading DIVISIONS.
CHAMPIONSHIP LOCATION: The 2015 UBTT Tournament of Champions will be held on Lake Havasu Oct. 30 - 31, 2015. Host Motel Quality Inn (formally Ramada Inn) Room rates $75.00 per night, 2 Queens.
Reservations 928-855-1111. Tell them that you are with Ultimate Bass Team Tour to receive the special rate. They have ample charging facilities for your boats. It only takes 6 events to qualify for the UBTT TOC. There are several options that can be used to qualify for the championship. Please see " RULES" (above) for complete information on how to qualify.
After the 2014 TOC we sent out an email asking anglers if they would prefer an all cash payout or if they would prefer a boat certificate for the winning championship team? The results were 92% in favor of cash. The 2015 UBTT Championship will be an all cash payout which will allow teams to receive a larger portion of the pot from 2nd place on down, thus eliminating a "top heavy" 1st place payout.
We are excited to announce that UBTT for the second year in a row is a sanctioned member of B.A.S.S. for the 2015 B.A.S.S Team Championship. Each member of UBTT will have the opportunity to qualify for the chance to compete in the B.A.S.S. team championship and a chance to fish in the 2016 Bassmaster Classic. How to Qualify: For the 2015 season the AOY team in each division will have first choice to attend the team championship. If there are still qualifying positions left then the top teams from the UBTT 2015 TOC will be given the chance to attend beginning with 1st place and moving down the list until all qualifying positions are filled.
B.A.S.S. News Release: Toyota Bonus Bucks Bassmaster Team Championship Set For Lake Guntersville
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. — Lake Guntersville, site of the 2014 GEICO Bassmaster Classic presented by Diet Mountain Dew and GoPro, has been selected to host the 2015 Toyota Bonus Bucks Bassmaster Team Championship.
Top anglers on participating team tournament trails from across the country will have a chance to win a national team title and a berth in the 2016 Bassmaster Classic berth when they compete in the team championship tournament Dec. 9-12, 2015, at Lake Guntersville.
Lake Guntersville is a rich part of B.A.S.S. history and a great fishery to host our second annual Toyota Bonus Bucks Bassmaster Team Championship,” said Bruce Akin, B.A.S.S. CEO. “The Classic on Guntersville last year set several new catch records, and I know the lake will offer up plenty of big bass in this year’s team competition.”
The Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) will host the championship at Lake Guntersville, which is one of the lakes on the Alabama Bass Trail. The daily launches and weigh-ins will be held at Guntersville State Park.
Thanks again for your continued support of UBTT. We look forward to offering tournament anglers the best team circuit in the West.
